Customer questions

Clear answers before you start.

Kismet Kwon is built to make missed-call recovery simple, practical, and commercially useful. These answers explain what the system does, what it does not do, and where the business owner stays in control.

The simple promise

Missed calls should become visible opportunities, not lost jobs.

Kismet Kwon is designed to turn eligible missed calls into organised enquiries ready for follow-up. It gives the business owner a clearer chance to recover the opportunity. The final close still depends on: pricing, timing, service quality, demand, and how well the owner handles the lead.

What does Kismet Kwon do?

After phone activation, Kismet Kwon can handle calls forwarded when a plumber cannot answer. A natural conversation is followed by structured extraction, and the completed enquiry is placed in the plumber's dashboard for human review.

Who is Kismet Kwon for?

Kismet Kwon is built first for UK owner-operator plumbers and small plumbing teams that regularly receive calls while on the tools, driving, helping another customer or outside working hours.

Do you guarantee more customers?

No. Kismet Kwon is designed to make eligible missed calls visible and organised, but no system can guarantee that every call is captured or becomes paying work. The plumber remains responsible for availability, pricing, service quality, follow-up and closing the job.

Is this replacing my receptionist or staff?

No. Kismet Kwon is designed to support people, not replace them. It handles repetitive capture, organisation, and follow-up support so the business owner or team can focus on decisions, customer relationships, and completing the work.

Can it handle calls outside working hours?

Once activated and correctly forwarded, the receptionist is designed to receive calls when the plumber cannot answer, including outside normal working hours. Availability still depends on the phone and voice account connection; it is not an emergency service.

Can it capture job details?

The Captured Enquiry contains nine fields: caller name, caller phone, job type, urgency, street address, city, postcode, factual summary and callback preference. Missing details stay empty rather than being invented, and address, city and postcode remain separate.

Can it help with urgent jobs?

It can classify the enquiry as emergency, same day, normal or unknown from what the caller says. That label helps the plumber notice the situation; it is not a diagnosis, a promise of attendance or a replacement for emergency services and human judgement.

What happens after a lead is captured?

After the call, the structured fields are validated and stored as an enquiry for the correct customer account. The plumber can review the facts, contact the caller and move the enquiry through contacted, quoted and won stages without Kismet claiming an outcome.

Do I need technical knowledge?

The setup is designed to be guided. Add your business and call rules, then connect your voice account — two minutes, free credit included. Keep that account funded as you use it; Kismet handles the phone number work.

Can my phone service be activated now?

No. Account setup is available, but new Kismet-managed phone activation and controlled live calls are paused while production checks are completed. Kismet does not present a number as ready or take a new subscription checkout while phone creation is unavailable.

What happens if I cancel?

You can cancel through billing before the seven-day trial ends and no Kismet subscription payment will be taken. A later scheduled cancellation keeps the subscription entitled until the current paid period ends. At the effective cancellation time, new call routing stops and the Kismet-managed phone resources enter the controlled cleanup process.

What does it cost, and who pays call usage?

The subscription is £147 per month after a 7-day free trial. A payment method is collected when the trial starts and the first subscription payment is due on day 8 unless you cancel beforehand. Your voice account usage is separate and is not covered by the Kismet trial.

How do referral rewards work?

Active customers receive a personal referral link in the dashboard. When another plumbing business uses it, completes the seven-day trial and pays its first invoice successfully, both accounts receive one month free on their next eligible invoice. Self-referrals, duplicate or circular referrals, refunded payments and chargebacks do not qualify. A reward is server controlled, issued once and cannot be stacked on the same invoice.

What happens if the AI gets something wrong?

AI can help capture and organise information, but the business owner should still review important details. Kismet Kwon is not designed to make final high-impact decisions without human oversight.

Can I speak to a human if needed?

Yes. Kismet Kwon is self-serve by design, with support available at business@kismetkwon.com for account, setup, billing, privacy or technical questions.

Put the setup in place before activation opens.

Create an account, add your business rules and prepare the one-time voice account connection. New phone activation is paused while production checks are completed, and no number is presented as ready before those checks pass.
